The Plia folding chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti and produced by Anonima Castelli, from the original 1967 design. A defining example of Italian modernist furniture, it features a clear transparent acrylic seat and back on a chrome-plated steel frame, a landmark in folding chair design that earned Piretti the Compasso d'Oro in 1979.
